Saturday and Sunday, April 20th and 21st, 10 AM -5 PM

This is a 2-day acrylic workshop that emphasizes composition, value, color, and creativity in painting a landscape. You will begin by reviewing positive and negative shapes, establishing plane changes, and deciding on a format and color family for your landscape.

Day 1 will be used to prepare the basis for your landscape and painting the creative surface of your substrates.

Day 2 will be your actual painting day for your landscape.

You will have prepared 2 substrates with creative arbitrary surfaces. This will be your jumping-off point to begin your painting journey of two contemporary landscapes that show your individual artistic style.
