Description of Course

Textiles unites the whole décor of an Interior Space. Using specific patterns and colors compliment furnishings and décor and brings together the Elements and Principles needed to accomplish the overall style or theme of any space.

Knowledge of these Textiles can also lead to a specific profession as an Artist or Designer applying future skills in Fabric Printing and Designing. You will learn the common fabrics and textiles used in Interior Design and Decorating and how they are applied on furniture, curtains, beddings, rugs, throws, pillows and more. Also, how to decorate using different patterns and colors. Because this class is hands on and will use a vast array of different textiles, it may not be appropriate for those will severe allergens. A mask is required for this class.
